Truck loses load on R565, Phokeng Circle

RUSTENBURG – At approximately 11:38 on the 14th of September 2025, Rustenburg First Responders received a call regarding a heavy motor vehicle accident on the R565 at the Phokeng Circle. Initial information indicated that a fully loaded truck had lost control and overturned.

Rustenburg First Responders, together with EMS from Trauma Rescue, North West Provincial EMS, and Bojanala EMS, were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, one patient – the driver – was found with moderate injuries. The patient was treated and transported to hospital for further care.

The scene was attended by Rustenburg First Responders, Eagle Trauma Rescue, Bojanala Emergency Medical Services , and North West Provincial EMS. A big thank you to all emergency services involved during scene control and clean-up!
