SAPS vehicle rolls after striking Polo on R24

RUSTENBURG – At approximately 02:16 on Monday morning, Rustenburg First Responders received a call reporting a motor vehicle accident that had occurred on the R24 near the Shell Garage.

Information received indicated that two vehicles were involved, one of which was a SAPS vehicle. Rustenburg First Responders, together with Bojanala EMS, were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Upon arrival, it was found that a police vehicle responding to a call had been involved in the collision. Fortunately, the occupants of both vehicles sustained only minor injuries. The patient was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
