Multiple injured after accident on Majakaneng bridge

BRITS – On Sunday, the H.E.M.S team responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on the Majakaneng Bridge involving three vehicles. Upon arrival, multiple patients were found with injuries ranging from minor to serious.

One patient was trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by our Fire and Rescue team using specialized equipment. All patients were treated on scene and transported to hospital for further care.

Sadly, two people were declared deceased on scene. Our deepest condolences go out to the families and loved ones affected by this tragic incident. Thank you to all responding emergency services for their teamwork and dedication under challenging conditions.
