Secra Security officers saves poisoned dogs life
BRITS – On Tuesday, 19 August 2025, at approximately 04:24 AM, Secra’s Control Room received a distress call from a female resident in the Brits Rural area. The caller reported that approximately three suspects were spotted on her property and that one of her dogs had been poisoned.
Secra’s Armed Response Team was immediately dispatched and arrived on scene within minutes. A thorough inspection of the property was conducted, and no further signs of threat or risk were identified.
The poisoned dog was treated on scene with an antidote by the Secra Reaction officers. Thanks to the rapid response and intervention, the dog’s condition stabilized, and it survived the incident.
Investigation revealed that the suspects had gained access to the property by scaling the precast wall on the right-hand side and fled the scene the same way. No injuries were reported, and no property damage occurred due to Secra’s swift and effective response.
