Kidnapping, firearms & robbery suspects busted

AUCKLAND PARK – In a coordinated operation involving TRT Sedibeng, Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT (Central Corridor), JMPD K9 Unit, CI Sedibeng, and various Security Companies, information was received about a house in Auckland Park harbouring dangerous criminals.

The suspects were reportedly terrorising communities around Auckland Park, Brixton, Melville, and surrounding areas, robbing people at gunpoint.

Following investigations, officers located the suspicious house on Finsbury Avenue, Auckland Park where they found kidnapped Ethiopian nationals, unlicensed firearms, live ammunition, Laptops and cellphones.

Four suspects were arrested on the scene, while the kidnapped victims were safely removed and taken to a place of safety. Job well done to all units involved!
