Polo gang member arrested while cable thieves run rampant
WADEVILLE – CPS Security teams joined forces with Law Enforcement and Tracker South Africa in the early hours of Tuesday morning to track down a stolen polo taken in the Wadeville area.
The tracking device led us to the N12 highway, where we intercepted the suspect driving the stolen Polo. After attempting to stop the vehicle, the suspect fled on foot, but our team quickly apprehended him as he tried to hide in a nearby tunnel.
Investigations revealed the suspect is linked to multiple car theft cases and is part of a large syndicate targeting complexes, estates. Great collaboration and teamwork by all parties involved.

in another incident, CPS reaction units spotted two suspicious males walking with items, which seemed to be very heavy. Additional reaction units were requested in order to confront and question the two men.
When officers stopped, the two men began to flee on foot. One suspect was arrested and the second managed to escape. Stolen cable and cutting equipment were found in his possession. Mondeor SAPS were contacted, and the suspect was detained. Job well done gentlemen!
