From Tractor To Sports Car, The Lamborghini Story

Lamborghini started as a tractor manufacturer in 1948, founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini, an Italian engineer who achieved great success in the agricultural industry. As his wealth grew, Ferruccio developed a passion for sports cars and purchased several Ferrari models.

However, after experiencing mechanical issues with his Ferrari and receiving a dismissive response from Enzo Ferrari when he suggested improvements, he decided to create his own luxury sports car. He founded Automobili Lamborghini and, in 1964, introduced the 350 GT, his first model, known for its power and comfort.

His success was solidified with the launch of the Miura in 1966, a revolutionary model that defined the modern supercar concept and marked the beginning of the Lamborghini legend.
