Three vehicle collision on intersection, R102

CANELANDS – No injuries were reported in a collision involving three vehicles in the R102 at the Canelands robots yesterday afternoon. Controllers at the RUSA Operations Centre became inundated with calls for assistance from the public reporting the multiple vehicle collision. Reaction Officers & RUSA Paramedics were immediately dispatched and arrived on scene at approximately 14:28.

It was alleged that a white Toyota Corolla was turning from the R102 into Canelands when a Toyota Hilux bakkie belonging to the Ethekwini Water & Sanitation Department collided into it at the robots. The Toyota Corolla spun around and crashed into a red Kia Rio that was stationary.
