Three suspects arrested while digging up cables

PRETORIA – TMPD Cable Theft unit arrested three suspects in Pretoria East on Sunday, 9 February 2025. The suspects were caught red handed while digging out cable at a trench on Solomon Mahlangu Drive and Delmas Road.

While searching the suspects an unlicensed firearm and ammunition’s were found in their possession and copper cables were recovered. The suspects were arrested and detained at a local police station.
