Swiss photographer Franco Banfi braved the remote swamps of Mato Grosso, Brazil, to come face-to-face with the legendary giant anaconda, one of the world’s most awe-inspiring predators.

Armed with his camera and submerged in murky waters, Banfi embarked on a daring mission to capture rare and detailed images of this colossal snake, known to reach lengths of over 8 meters and weigh more than 200 kilograms.
