Madibeng welcomes the newly appointed Municipal Manager

BRITS – The Mayor of Madibeng Local Municipality, Cllr. Douglas Maimane welcomed the newly appointed Municipal Manager, Mr. Quite Kgatla.

Council during its Ordinary Sitting of 26 November 2024, resolved to appoint Mr. Kgatla as Municipal Manager of Madibeng Local Municipality on a fixed term contract of employment effective 01 December 2024 ending one (1) year after the election of the next Council.

The newly appointed Municipal Manager was first introduced to the “Troika”-the Executive Mayor, Cllr. Douglas Maimane, Speaker, Cllr. Ditshego Mbezi, Whip, Cllr. Peter Padi and later Members of the Mayoral Committee, Directors, the Chairperson of Municipal Public Accounts Committee (MPAC), Cllr. Eugene Van Der Schyff and the Chairpersons of Audit Committee and Municipal Disciplinary Board.
