Man flees after prostitute stalks him for short paying ‘services’

VERULAM – A 50 year old man being pursued by a Prostitute fled to RUSA Headquarters for assistance yesterday afternoon. The Verulam resident informed Officers that the female extorted cash from him on three occasions since last month (September 2024). He alleged that the female accused him of utilising her services and then short paying.

According to the 24 year old female, the man allegedly booked a room and requested a full house package without contraception costing R300. After they were done, he paid her R100 and advised that she remain in the room while he left to purchase food. He did not return with the food and the balance of her payment.

The female and other sex workers located the male in the Verulam CBD walking from his place of employment to his residence following the incident and confronted him. He paid her R50 on three different occasions. This afternoon she once again saw him and demanded the final payment of R50 and he fled to the RUSA HQ for assistance.

The male confirmed that he frequently utilised the services of Prostitutes in the Verulam CBD, but denied owing any of them cash. He alleged that the female embarrassed him in public, therefore he paid her R50 on three different occasions. Neither version of events could be confirmed by Officers. The female eventually agreed to scrap the mans debt.
