Community bay for blood of child molester

RIET RIVER – The community of Riet River were baying for the blood of a man accused of molesting two minor children. RUSA officers were called out to the scene. On arrival, Reaction units discovered a crowd of approximately 60 men, woman & children gathered around a man. They were hurling abuse and assaulting him. It was alleged that the male was seen molesting his landlord’s two year old daughter on Saturday afternoon.

The child’s mother witnessed the incident and immediately mobilised the community. They apprehended the male and restrained him with rope. A neighbour also informed Officers that she questioned her three year old daughter following the man’s apprehension and established that 57 year old had also been molesting her child. The suspect denied the allegations. He was handed over to the Verulam SAPS for further investigation.
