Electrocuted monkey rescued after fall

VERULAM – Reaction Officers responded to a call of a male monkey that was electrocuted & fell off a pole in Ocean Ridge. Officers found that the Vervet Monkey suffered extensive burns and injuries from the fall. Lindy Elmes from Wildlife Rescue was called to the RUSA Headquarters to tend to the injured primate.
