Massive collision caused after trailer detaches on R566

BRITS – A serious accident occurred on the R556 road yesterday, after a trailer detached from a vehicle and collided with another vehicle in the oncoming traffic lane. The unexpected event resulted in minor to moderate injuries for two individuals involved.

The H.E.M.S team quickly responded to the area. The patients were treated on scene and transported to a hospital in Brits for further treatment.
