Stolen vehicle recovered, suspects arrested

ALBERTON – CPS Security’s Mobile LPR unit flagged a stolen motor vehicle in the Alberton area. Tactical units responded and spotted the vehicle entering the Verwoerdpark area where it was pulled over. Alberton SAPS and EMPD CLU provided back up. One unlicenced firearm, one stolen motor vehicle and narcotics were seized during the arrest.

Well done to the officers for the quick response which led to a positive arrest and another gun taken off the streets. All suspects have been detained and charged. Great teamwork from everyone!
