Fruit & Veg shop vendor (53) gunned down

NEWLANDS – A 53-year-old man was shot dead on Malendela Road near KwaMashu yesterday afternoon. Reaction officers were called out to the scene at approximately 18:34.

On their arrival, Officers discovered the KwaMashu SAPS and Paramedics from a private ambulance service in attendance. The lifeless body of a male was located next to his white Isuzu bakkie. It was established that the deceased was a vendor who sold fruit & vegetables. The Inanda resident was gunnned down for unknown reasons.
