BREAKING NEWS: Minister unveils working machinery and equipment to North West beneficiaries
BRITS – On Thursday, 12 September 2024, will go down as a day remember for emerging businesses in the North West Province, as the Department of Small Business Development injected the much needed assistance to the said businesses during a programme led by Minister Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams held in Madibeng.
Accompanied by the Deputy Minister, Jane Sithole, North West Premier, Hon. Lazarus Mokgosi, North West DEDECT MEC, Hon. Bitsa Lenkopane, Executive Mayor of Bojanala District, Cllr. Suzan Nthangeni, Executive Mayor of Madibeng, Cllr. Douglas Maimane and Members of the Mayoral Committees for both Bojanala and Madibeng, Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams handed over business machinery and equipment as well as grants to beneficiaries help grow their business.
Earlier in the day, the Minister’s entourage visited two farming cooperatives in the Sandrift area and Optimum Harvest in the Sonop area whom both received agricultural machinery.
“Today we are handing over business machinery, tools and equipment to beneficiaries of three programmes, namely the Asset Assist Programme (AAP), the Co-operatives Development Support Programme (CSDSP), and the Informal and Micro Enterprise Development Programme (IMEDP).
To the beneficiaries of our three programmes, which form part of this handover, please use the equipment and working capital to grow your business” said Minister Ndabeni-Abrahams.
