Hijacked vehicle recovered during operations

GARANKUWA – During operations, Gauteng Traffic Police, in collaboration with Rietgat Gauteng Traffic Wardens, received a tip-off about a Toyota Rumion hijacked in July 2024.

Acting on the information, the team conducted a special intelligence investigation, leading to the vehicle’s location in Garankuwa Phase 04. The complainant was contacted and successfully identified the vehicle, which was booked at Dube SAPS.
