Busy Friday for the H.E.M.S team & Station 21

BRITS – On Friday an accident occurred at the Brits Toll Plaza, involving two vehicles. One vehicle was rear-ended by another, leading to a significant collision. The H.E.M.S team swiftly responded to the accident. While the crash caused considerable disruption, only one individual sustained moderate injuries.

The injured person was treated on scene and transported to a hospital in Brits for further treatment. Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident and have urged drivers to exercise caution and adhere to traffic regulations to prevent similar incidents in the future.

In another serious collision that occurred Friday night, resulting in one individual sustaining serious injuries. The accident, which involved two vehicles, took place on the R511 Silkaatsnek road.

The impact of the crash lead to substantial damage to both vehicles. H.E.M.S and Station 21 Fire and Rescue responded to the scene where one patient with serious injuries was treated and transported to a hospital in Brits.
