Hijacking syndicate suspects arrested

GAUTENG – A suspicious motor vehicle was spotted in the Brackenhurst area by CPS Security tactical units during a high density operation together with Law enforcement

The suspects immediately began to speed off after officers and law enforcement made a u-turn. The suspects began to drive away at a high speed skipping several red traffic lights and endangering many lives. One suspect jumped out of the moving vehicle sustaining injuries and was treated on scene.

A total of three suspects were arrested. Jammers, false number plates, car breaking implements, gloves, computer boxes for Toyota, Ford, Renault etc were found in the vehicle. The suspects will be detained at Alberton SAPS and will be charged accordingly.
