Female injured in hit & run accident, number plate left behind

REDCLIFFE – RUSA officers received a call from witnesses requesting medical assistance for a 41 year old female, that was injured in a hit and run accident. On arrival at approximately 14:28, the female was located on the side of the road. Her right arm was fractured and she sustained multiple lacerations to her face.

Several witnesses informed Officers that a red Nissan Sentra with registration NJ 37576 recklessly exited Buffelsdraai Road. The vehicle veered off the road and struck the pedestrian. The driver sped off without stopping. A number plate belonging to the vehicle was located at the scene. The injured female was stabilized on scene before being expedited to hospital by ambulance.
