Person airlifted to special trauma facility

BRITS – Early Tuesday morning HEMS and Station 21 Fire & Rescue responded to a single vehicle accident on the Lethlabile Road. On arrival at scene one patient was found with serious injuries. The patient was treated on scene and transported to a hospital in Brits.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the patient was later airlifted to a trauma facility in Johannesburg for specialized treatment. Thank you to the H.E.M.S team for their continued efforts to save many lives in our community!
