High density operations conducted as weekend kicks off

GAUTENG – The Premier of Gauteng, Panyaza Lesufi monitored the early morning road block targeted at monitoring motorist compliance, search for illegal contraband, illegal firearms and ammunition, dangerous weapons, driving under the influence of alcohol.

The collaborative effort among the Gauteng Traffic Wardens, Gauteng Traffic Police, SAPS, EMPD, Patrollers, CPF, Private Security companies and Home Affairs seeks to enhance safety and security, increasing the visibility of law enforcement officers by conducting intensive patrols and inspections, the operation aims to disrupt criminal activities and restore order in the crime-prone areas.
