Busy week for Security, safe week for residents

GAUTENG – CPS Security teams together with EMPD Metro CLU were conducting high density patrols within the Alberton area where several hotspots were visited. One suspicious male was spotted travelling on a motorcyle. The man was stopped and questioned.

Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were found in his possession. The suspect was transported to Alberton SAPS were a case of Possession of Narcotics was opened.

In another incident, the control room received multiple panic signals from a local convenience store. On arrival a lookout was given for two suspects that had stolen items from the store.

The lookout was circulated with local reaction units and one suspect was spotted travelling on foot which matched the description given. The suspect was arrested and Alberton SAPS were contacted in order to open a case of theft. Job well done guys!
