Earth moving machines handed over to Hartbeesfontein landfill site

HARTBEESFONTEIN – Mayor of Madibeng Local Municipality, Cllr Douglas Maimane officially handed over new earth moving machines to workers at the Hartbeesfontein Landfill Site.

The Municipality purchased a new excavator machine and a new front loader for purposes of the landfill operations. The Executive Mayor was accompanied by the Member of the Mayoral Committee for Public Safety, Fleet and Facility Management (PSFFM), Cllr Feni Motepe, the Acting Municipal Manager, Ms. Morufa Moloto, the Director for Community Services, Ms Nelly Rampete, the Director for PSFFM, Mr Moses Khoza and municipal officials.

Mayor Maimane emphasized the need to invest in the Municipality’s own fleet as a measure to save costs for the Municipality and in the process accelerate service delivery.
