Single mother killed in freak car accident

WATERLOO – A 40-year-old woman has been killed in a freak accident while seated in her nieghbours property yesterday morning. Reaction Officers arrived on scene in the vicinity of Soul Liberation Church at 11:49 & found the female lying in a yard. A silver Toyota Azanza was stationary next to her body.
Paramedics from Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) and KZN VIP found the female unresponsive. She was declared deceased on scene.
Reaction Officers interviewed two brothers who were the occupants of the silver Toyota Avanza. They informed Officers that they were travelling in the residential area with their vehicle loaded with tables & chairs.
As they were driving in the vicinity of the flats, a money pouch & a speaker began to slide off the dashboard. The 26-year-old driver reached for the bag of money that was sliding towards the left door. He lost control off the vehicle and ran over the female sitting on a paint bucket in the yard killing her instantly. The occupants of the vehicle & the deceased were all South African Nationals.
The deceased was identified as a single mother of two minor children. She previously resided in Hluhluwe in Northern Kwazulu Natal before relocating to Waterloo. Further details are being withheld. The deceased children, a boy & a girl were in school at the time of the accident.
