Card scammers swiftly arrested

GAUTENG – Information was received that a card scamming syndicate was targeting a local shopping centre. Operations was held by the South African Police Service and FNB investigation unit when the suspects arrived at the shopping centre.The scammers were spotted attempting to scam a victim and SAPS intervened.

Multiple panic signals were received from clients with the shopping centre and CPS Security reaction officers responded swiftly and assited SAPS in effecting the arrest after the suspects attempted to flee out of the centre.

Upon further investigation one of the 3 suspects arrested had an outstanding warrant of arrest. Brilliant team work gentlemen!
