Suspect arrested for 2016 theft

ALBERTON – CPS Security Tactical team together with EMPD CLU were conducting high density patrols within the Alberton area. A scooter was spotted and was pulled over. The scooter was inspected as it was fitted with false number plates and an enquiry was done on the vin number.

It was established that the scooter was positive as per the SAPS database. The scooter was stolen in the edenvale area in 2016. The man was arrested and the scooter was taken to Alberton Police station. Well done gentlemen!
