Three (3) fake police officers arrested

GAUTENG – Three suspects were arrested yesterday at Turf Road, Anderbolt industrial area and police confiscated Gauteng Traffic Police uniforms that were found in their possession.

They were arrested after members of SAPS Boksburg North Crime prevention group were conducting visibility in the area they noticed a white Volkswagen Polo with three occupants inside. False registration plates were taped onto the vehicle.

The trio aged between 28 and 44 years were detained at Boksburg North for possession of Police uniforms will be profiled to check whether they were not involved in other crimes.
