Madibeng essential services Easter prayer service
BRITS – On Tuesday, essential services personnel from across Madibeng gathered for prayer ahead of the busy Easter period.
Traffic Officers, Fire and Emergency Services Officers, Correctional Services Officials, Social Services and Health Workers, who are all usually on high alert and deal with higher rates of incidents and accidents around this time of year, prayed for safety and goodwill in the coming weeks.
There was was also a pre-Easter sermon for the essential services workers as they will be on duty during Easter.
Executive Mayor Douglas Maimane, thanked the officials for their service. He reminded them that faith teaches us to see beyond this life and so it gives perspective on what is important in this life. He encouraged all to gather in prayer.
