Rolex gang: Two killed, one managed to escape

JOHANNESBURG – Three (3) Rolex gang members were shot at in Sandton near Sandton City and Rivonia Road. One suspect managed to runaway while the second suspect died at the scene due to gunshot wounds, eyewitnesses said he was screaming while busy taking off his clothes, and the third died on the way to hospital.

The suspects pounced on the victim with the Rolex he bought in a store in Sandton and was believed to be followed to a hotel in the area. Unknowingly to the criminals, the victim’s bodyguards were traveling with him in white polos.

A gunfight started and two of the three was fatally wounded. Police arrived on the scene with other emergency services to analyze and gather any possible information. An investigation is currently underway for the robbery and shooting.
