Woman allegedly beaten by SANDF members for leaving baby to visit boyfriend

RIBA CROSS – A woman was given a beating she will not forget soon allegedly by the SANDF over the weekend in Riba Cross, Burgersfort after she left her four-months-old child to visit her boyfriend.

According to reports, the parents of the young woman were awoken by the persistent crying of the baby and upon inspection found the child alone in the room. It’s alleged that the mother left the house the evening through the window, leaving the child behind.

Additionally, with no hesitation, the grandmother of the baby, with no hesitation alerted the SANDF and Police officers of the matter and they swiftly went on a manhunt searching for the mother of the child.

After some time, the mother of the baby was found with her boyfriend. The SANDF advanced and gave her a beating which resulted in her being swollen, they further took her from her partner to return home to the child.
