Suspects arrested for possession of narcotics

GAUTENG – CPS teams were patrolling conducting stop and searches together with EMPD. Two suspicious males were spotted hanging around a known hot spot. The two men were confronted and searched.

One of the men was found in possession of Mandrax and other drug paraphernalia. The suspect attempted to flee on foot after the drugs were found and was swiftly apprehended. A case of possession of narcotics, resisting arrest and assualting a police officer was opened.
