Suspect arrested for drug possesion

GAUTENG – CPS Tactcial team together with EMPD CLU were conducting stop and searches within the Randhart area. A suspicious motor vehicle with 1 occupant was spotted travelling down Nelson Mandela drive.

The reaction team pursued the vehicle and the vehicle started driving away at a high speed. The vehicle was successfully stopped on Swartkoppies road after a short chase.

The vehicle was searched by EMPD and mandrax and drug paraphernalia were found. The suspect was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics and wreckless and negligent driving.
