Nine injured in multiple vehicle collision

KWAZULU-NATAL – IPSS Medical Rescue received reports of a multiple vehicle collision on the N2 near Amatikulu. Reports from the scene indicate that three vehicles collided at high speed resulting in nine people sustaining injuries ranging from severe to moderate. Six patients were stabilised on scene by IPSS Medical Rescue and transported to hospital under the care of IPSS Advanced Life Support paramedics. A further three patients were transported by other services on scene. The exact cause of the collision is unknown and will be subject to police investigation.
