Suspect arrested after phone theft

GAUTENG – CPS Security guards at a local shopping centre noticed an unknown male picking up a cellphone from the floor. The man was followed and observed as he exited the shopping centre.

The rightful owner of the cellphone had approached one of our other security officers in the centre and informed us that his cellphone was missing.

Reaction units stopped the unknown male by Jackson dam and detained him for theft. The suspect was transported to the Brackendowns Police Station and a case of theft was opened.
