Four people struck by lightning in freak accident

CENTURION – Four people was struck by lightning in a freak accident earlier this evening in Olievenhoutbosch in Centurion on R55 road. Two of the four was struck dead while the other two was left in critical condition.

There has been a spike in lightning related incidents in Gauteng due to the severe thunderstorms since the beginning of the year. Please stay safe and observe safety measures related to lightning.
