Hijacker shot dead by victim, Birch Acres

GAUTENG – It’s reported that the victim, a security officer, was in his VW Polo waiting for his friend when a silver BMW suddenly stopped next to him.

Two African males jumped out of the BMW and pointed the complainant with a firearm. The complainant locked his car doors and took out his firearm and shot in the direction of the suspects.

One of the suspects fled with the BMW and the other suspect fell to the ground. The suspect who was shot sustained two gunshot wounds in his chest. On further investigation a Gersan 9mm firearm was found next to the suspect with a magazine and 15 rounds.

The police officers requested the ambulance. The hijacker was declared dead by the paramedics on scene. Job well done to all units on scene!
