Two in court for murder of 4 people on New Years

SOSHANGUVE – Two suspects appeared in court in connection with the murder of four people including a 14-year-old girl on New Year’s day. The two suspects appeared in the Soshanguve Magistrate’s Court. They’re both accused of being behind the New Year’s day mass murder in Jukulyn, Block P.

It is believed two heavily armed suspects opened fire on the four victims in the early hours of New Year’s Day killing all four victims including a teenage girl (14).

Vuyolwethu (14) was caught in the crossfire. She had gone to the gate to greet her police officer uncle when she was struck by a bullet of a high calibre gun. Over 90 rounds of high calibre ammunition was used during the shooting.
