Daylight robbery caught in the act

GAUTENG – Information was received that a suspect had gained access into a residents property and stole items such as a gas bottle and ladder. The suspect was spotted by a community member heading towards the Alrode area.

Reaction units were dispatched to the complaint and managed to apprehend the suspect in Garfield Rd. The suspect was detained and taken back to the property. Alberton SAPS were contacted and the suspect was handed over. Well done officers!
