Two injured after vehicle overturns

COTTONLANDS – Two people were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on Vincent Dickenson Road in Cottonlands on Sunday.

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived on scene at approximately 14:09. It was established that the community freed the occupants of a grey Hyundai Venus that was lying on its roof. The public turned the car back onto its tyres prior to removing the trapped driver and his passenger. The two sustained moderate injuries and were transported to hospital by ambulance.

The driver informed Reaction Officers that he had no recollection of events that led to the accident.
