Two females wounded in drive-by shooting
SPRINGFIELD PARK – Two females were seriously wounded in a drive-by shooting in Springfield Park – KZN today (Friday).
A passerby contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) at approximately 10:36 requesting assistance in Inanda Road. On arrival, Reaction Officers discovered multiple private ambulances on scene. It was established that the occupants of a white bakkie (model & registration unknown) opened fire on a white BMW X5.
Two females in the SUV were seriously injured. Approximately 30 spent 9mm cartridges were recovered at the scene. Both females were stabilised on scene before being transported to hospital by ambulance.
