Last of the year, thank you for everything!

GAUTENG – The Friends held their last work party in the ash wall section of Braamfontein cemetery. Their efforts were concentrated on removing the creepers which had become overgrown and were blocking the light from the walls in the pond section and trying out a new cleaning solution on the marble plaques which have been stained by the tipuana tree.

Three of their builders spent the day clearing out the debris that has collected in the gullies in the ash kerb walls and vases. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who have worked so willingly to restore the ash walls, and thank you to Jonathan Felix and his Helping Hands builders who have come along over weekends to give a helping hand.

You’re all a great bunch of people and the teams couldn’t have managed this mammoth task without you all. Thank you to for the encouragement and interest and for the donations that have come from all of the people helping any possible way!
