Incredible moment audience member helps opera singer

ITALY – An opera singer was singing her fourth encore for the night, showing off her impressive pipes and stage presence when something very unexpectedly happened.

During Lisette Oropesa’s performance, there should have been a male tenor part, but when the singer reached the point where the male voice should have joined, there was only silence.

Seeing that no one sang the first line of the male tenor part, a man in the second line of the audience took it upon himself to fill the gap and sang the verse beautifully. The spontaneous duet caught everyone off guard, including the professional opera singer who held her hands to her heart as she enjoyed his singing and said “oh grazie!”. A video of this impromptu moment instantly went viral being viewed over 2.6 million times.
