Murder suspect arrested during sting

ALBERTON – A sting operation was conducted together with Alberton and Germiston SAPS. CPS Security team received information regarding a suspect wanted for kidnapping, theft, and 2 counts of murder that occurred in Alberton. The suspect was traced to the South Hills area where he was hiding.

One suspect was arrested, and 2 firearms were recovered. The suspect was transported to Alberton Police Station, where he was charged. If anyone has any further information, please make contact with Alberton SAPS. Our condolences are with the families.
