Suspects arrested damaging infrastructure

GAUTENG – Reaper Tactical control room received an alarm activation from one of their clients’ premises in Lake Street in the Ophirton area at approximately 4:15am yesterday morning.

RU08 was dispatched and upon arrival they inspected the clients premises and found all to be in order with no sign of forced entry. They noticed movement up the road and cautiously approached and saw three suspects digging a up electric cable.

A small foot chase began along the street and they were able to detain one suspect. He has been handed over to SAPS and a case has been opened. Thank you to all security units involved!
