Driver flee scene after vehicle collision

BRITS – Thursday morning, the HEMS team received a call of an accident involving two vehicles on the Sonop road. On arrival at scene one patient was found with serious injuries. The patient was treated on scene and transported to a hospital in Brits for further treatment.

The driver of the other vehicle fled the scene but was later caught by local security services. Allegedly the person was involved in another incident earlier that morning where he also fled the scene. The incident is being investigated
