Criminals arrested using ‘car buyer’ tactic

GERMISTON – CPS Security Tactcal units responded to a complaint at a complex after a red toyota etios drove into the premises with several bullet holes. On their arrival, one suspect was apprehended inside the vehicle and the remaining suspects fled on foot.

The vehicle was searched and a firearm, face masks, a knife, gloves, and house breaking implements were discovered inside the suspects vehicle. Germiston SAPS were contacted and attended the scene. It was later established that the suspects attempted to hijack a vicitm and fled from the scene. The suspects posed as potential buyers in order to buy the vehicle. Job well done to all units involved!
