Blank firearm stolen during break-in

VERULAM – A blank firearm and a cellphone were stolen from a home during a break-in on Groom Street in the Verulam CBD. Members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived at the property during a the early hours of Sunday morning and discovered the burglar bars pushed in.

Reaction Officers entered the home and discovered the bedrooms ransacked. According to the homeowner, a blank firearm and a cellphone were stolen. The suspects are believed to have fled on foot. The investigations continue.
